the uk-based tidy books make brilliant little book racks that display and store books making it easy for little ones to browse and play.
born from a mother frustrated with the lack of practical storage options for her children's books, geraldine grandidier, a highly skilled violin-maker, created tidy books! (oh, the power of the frustrated mom!) the cases are handmade from sustainable wood and treated with a water-based lacquer. they come in a variety of colors and designs from a full-size model to the compact bunk buddy.
i reviewed the multifunctional bunk buddy that is designed to be mounted on a wall near a bed. it has plenty of room for books in various sizes and the bottom shelf can be used for a nightlight or toys--love that! the bunk buddy is fantastic for city families that might not have a lot of room for a full kids bookcase. i put mine on the floor (pictured above) and secured it to the wall with a screw--otherwise my toddler was tipping it over. the bunk buddy would also be great near a changing station or even on a desk.
tidy books just became available in the us and shipping is free.
