Ahhs: Plastic can be Fantastic!

i think january is my contrary month. first, it was the stripes, now it's wood toys, which, also like stripes, i love! but i'm up to my chin in beautiful plan, haba and melissa and doug toys. i need variety in my life, so i set out to find plastic toys that didn't make my eyeballs bleed. as we all know plastic is troublesome with all the chemicals and shady manufacturing practices, but here are a few of my faves in plastic and rubber. please chime in if you know of others....

  1. Great pics! We allow all these in the house. Go bless playmobil! Round it all out with a healthy dose of wooden toys and scarves and you're all set.

  2. I think it is kind of impossible to stay away from plastic toys... think lego, playmobil & co...
I think as long as they are not from the v tech part it is OK :)

  4. i can't believe i did this, but i made a huge mistake with this post. the kid-o blocks are wood (duh!). I had seen them before and they have such a think coating on them that i assumed they were plastic. my sincere apologies. i hope this is the last time i do something like that. i updated this post with the bilibo by kid-o, which i also love and KNOW it is plastic.
