New York International Gift Fair 2011

despite having a bit of a hangover, i made it over to the javits for the gift fair. this was my first year to visit the massive fair, there is so much to see and much of it is junk, but the baby and child section wasn't too hard to tackle. i saw some great things and met some wonderful people. here are a few bright spots...most everything won't be in stores till the spring!
one for my favorite visits was with the ladies at gunamuna.
they are at the fair introducing a new sleepsack. stay tuned for a coos review!

the kid-o booth was a zoo, but i was able to get these snaps of some of the new toys they are offering... super cool trucks!

 magnetic drawing and writing toys

how cute is this kid-o squirrel pull toy?
one of the best things i saw at the fair

very smart new bibs from skip*hop that folds up into a little bag.

i was so excited to see my brooklyn neighbor, acme tees, at the fair. they make the coolest tees in town. all super soft and organic. lots of new designs including the all over print and new onesie styles!! stay tuned for more posting on these!

this a useful gadget, it's a compact and cute stroller lock by buggyguard

these cute guys were hiding out at loralin design's booth

i was wowed at manny & simon's booth with all the new items they have...
how awesome is this bright red truck step stool??

hey boys!! new helicopter, dumptruck and towtruck toys!
(and yes, that is a wooden baby carriage in the background)

a super hip car push cart. nice and deep so baby can fill it with toys and it is sturdy, so no spills!

new additions to the popular animal push toy line including a horse...

and a giraffe!

new styles from blindmice socks. more to come on these.

introducing the toobalink... use old paper towel and toilet tissue tubes to build with this clever new toy. also my brooklyn peeps!

after baby and child, i had a few minutes to spare so i cruised through the handmade division.  sadly, it was very disappointing. i never saw so much crazy lawn art and jewlery!  i was happy
to find xenia taler ceramics booth

aren't these divine?!
