my street fashion column is really lagging. so while i try to pull it together i am starting this new series of posts on playgrounds that inspire. if you have photos of a cool playground near you, please submit!!
is it me or does it feel like as playgrounds get safer they get more boring? i am happy to see planners and architects coming together to think outside the box when it comes to playing, but for the most part the play equipment around the city are cookie cutter versions with a few exceptions that i will be posting on.
i have always been fond of old school playgrounds, which have pretty much disappeared in this country. this one in bogotá, colombia is about as awesome and old school as they come--not exactly safe.
