great for just about any age or gender, this new series of books features the retelling of the star wars saga in felt. each scene is painstakingly crafted from felted wool-- the detail is mind boggling!--and then composed to reenact a key moment in the story. each page has just one word that describes the scene. the simplicity is perfect for early readers and even my three-year old, who is already reading along! the open ended narrative allows for fun editorializing and tests my jedi knowledge. as a child of the eighties i think this stuff is part of my dna. we couldn't be more into these books!!
